Uh_Leesh_Uh asked:
I am looking for something that I can put both water and powder into so it is pre-measured for my husband/sitter while I am gone. Or even something convenient with the right amount of powder and I’ll pre-fill the bottles with water at the beginning of the week or something. Also, if you use bottled water for formula, which kind do you get? Not distilled….or spring?

You can get a formula dispenser at Wal-Mart to hold just the powder formula and then just premeasure the water…I also used spring water when I formula fed my 1st baby…
It sounds like you are looking for something like this…
You can get them at babies or toys r us
They have formula dispensers with 3 and 4 compartments in them that you can pre-measure. I got mine at target but walmart has them too. I always just added the right amount of water to the bottles and then filled the formula dispenser with the right amount of formula. (I did it for travelling etc) Also, I bought the Nursery Water for my daughter when we were doing formula. Its about $1.25 a gallon, has a pink lid and they sell it at most stores (including walmart). I liked this water because it was flouridated and it’s good for their teeth and dental development. If you are on city water, its most likely flouridated too so you can just boil it and keep it in a gallon jug if you want to save money. Good luck!
I got a dispenser from target for $3 it holds 3 servings of formula. I have always prefilled the bottles with water for the day. Also I use either bottled spring water or I have just put a filter on my tap. It saves me so much money. The formula dispensers also makes a great holder for snacks when they are older.
u don’t need bottled water unless ur well water is contaminated; most of it actually comes from the tap wherever they are; i read that study in reader’s digest a while back
avent and sassy makes the container for container i think u r talking about; the avent ones had better reviews and they convert 2 snack cups later–i have 2 of them and i love them!
